  3. Two Years of the Project LAPs & RAPs Starting date: 1 September 2005 End of the project: 31 August 2007 Duration of the project: 24 months Total cost of the project: € 669.464,76 Contribution by the European Commission for the two years: € 516.274,76

  4. Partnership LAPs & RAPs • The project is coordinated by the City of Venice (Italy) with scientific and technical support from QeC ERAN. The full list of project partners is: • City of Venice (Italy), • QeC-ERAN (Belgium), • the Association for the Development of West Athens (Greece), • the Fondazione G. Brodolini (Italy) • Comune di Crotone (Italy) • the Instituto da Segurança Social (Portugal) • Javni Zavod Socio (Slovenia) • the Comune di Roma – Department XIV – local development, training and employment policies (Italy) • the Municipality of Thessaloniki (Greece) • the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Czech Republic) • the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha – Consejería de Trabajo y Empleo – Dirección General de Trabajo e Inmigración (Spain).

  5. Projected Activities State of the Art (I) 1. Activities undertaken: • 4 Steering Group Meetings; • 4 Peer Review Exchange Workshops (Rome, Prague, Lisbon and Venice); • Creation of a website with an online good practice exchange and development forum; • Production of two interim reports.

  6. Projected Activities State of the Art (II) 2. Activities in progress : • Recruitment of local project co-ordinators and establishment of Local Development Groups in each partner location; • Production of a common framework and methodology guide - 4 VERSIONS PRODUCED, the final one ready by the end of the project; • Organisation of annual local dissemination and mainstreaming workshops; • Development and presentation of local/regional action plans • Production of four PREW Reports - 3 ALREADY DONE; • Production of two annual technical and financial reports - 1 ALREADY DONE.

Activities not foreseen in the project Action Plan • Laps & Raps Final Conference - Venue: Committee of the Region, Bruxelles; - Date: 22 June; - Aims: to highlight the the role of cities, towns and regions in the development of National Action Plans for Social Inclusion
