Evolution • 100 years ago women did not get as many job opportunities, many women stayed at home to look after her children and they didn’t have many rights. • Today women can do any job they want and the percentage of working women from 100 years ago till now has increased a lot. • Men used to dominate the workforce but now 47% of the workforce are women.

Bill 168 • In June, 2010, Bill 168 came into effect. • The policy is to protect people in the workplace from harassment and violence. • This bill gives women more rights in the workplace to protect them.
