  1. Keep kids busy for hours with these party games Throwing a kiddie party for your little one’s birthday is no easy task, add to that figuring out how you can keep all their friends engaged and pumped throughout the party, and you have yourself a super tedious task ahead. While you probably have the theme of the party down to whatever is the latest kid party trends these days, figuring out just the party games is a tough task, unless you are throwing your little one a party at one of the best fun zones for kids. Then the venue itself will act as the entertainment and mode of engagement for all of your kid’s party guests. Factoring in the general age group of all your kid’s party guests is the the step to figuring out the games for the party. Are they toddlers, elementary schoolers, or middle schoolers? Factoring in the age that all these kids are at is the easiest way to get started with planning all the party games. Let’s look at some popular birthday party games for kids, some for younger kids, and some that older kids will enjoy playing. One popular party game that you may have played when you were a kid as well is pin the tail on the donkey (or any other animal you fancy). This game is fairly simple, even for much younger kids to understand and enjoy. If not the star game of your kid’s party, it should at least feature on your party games list. It doesn’t take up too much of the party guests energy and is also pretty tame as a game. If you want something that will have the kids out and about, then you have to try a treasure hunt with a time limit. You can do it at a park, your compound, your back yard, or even inside your house, depending on the number of guests you have at your kid’s party. The thing with hosting treasure hunts is that you need to understand that the younger the kids are the more easier and basic you need to make it for them. This means, instead of using cryptic clues, as you would probably use for teens, for the younger ones you will probably need to use pictures or basic directives. No matter what the theme of your child’s party is, even if they are having a birthday pizza party, you can always include a little game of pass the parcel. If you really want to get things going at your child’s party then musical statue is the game to achieve this. To truly take all the fun up a notch, make sure you choose songs that are a bit up and popular, or even better ones that are funny. No matter what is the general age group of the kids at your child’s birthday party, one game that nobody can say a no to is musical chairs, so make sure to line up those chairs or floor cushions. The general rule with these kids ’party games is that you need to ensure everyone understands the rules and directions well and to include every guest in the fun.
