Code of Conduct 6. A Registrant shall take all reasonable steps to maintain and develop his or her professional competence by attention to new development relevant to his or her field of professional activity and shall encourage persons working under his or her supervision to do so.
“Practitioners are encouraged to devise their own plans for personal and professional development. All current learning activities should be recorded and a record kept in a portfolio. The portfolio must contain evaluation of the learning that has taken place. In addition practitioners may structure their learning by selecting from a variety of activities. Portfolio evidence should be kept up-to-date and any professional should expect to present their portfolio to RCCP for verification at any time.” PROFILE SHOULD CONTAIN: Evidence of CPD Job description CV Personal Development Plan A minimum of 3 reflective practice accounts
