To help clients collect consumption and behavior data and to offer useful management and analysis functions, AP2S sought a way to unify stadium operations via a flexible and cost-optimized cloud platform. SITUATION: SOLUTION: AP2S chose Windows Azure to host its OpenField solution, which offers new CRM and geo-business intelligence approaches at the heart of the user experience and modern apps. OpenField is connected to various business tools (ticketing, catering, access control, e-commerce websites, etc.) and building tools (building management system) to manage and exploit all relevant data. OpenField leverages many of the features of Windows Azure, including Virtual Machines, Cloud Services, storage with geographic redundancy, Virtual Network, and Traffic Manager.
