Our club’s $10,000 contribution was the catalyst for this project • Total cost of the project = $153,300 • Sources of revenue: • Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial = $36,000* • CHILD Foundation = $28,950 • MOTHER Foundation+ (cash) = $38,350 • MOTHER Foundation (land contribution) = $50,000 • Including $10,000 from Rotary Club of Calgary and $16,000 CIP grant + Indian partner - NGO

  4. Opening Ceremonies held on Oct. 2nd, 2011 (Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthday)

  5. Official invitations sent to ~ 200 people; about 300 people attended

  6. Asking GOD for forgiveness for destroying habitat of HIS creatures during construction...

  7. ...And praying for HIS blessings as we dedicate the hospital in service of HIS own

  8. Not just coffee and donuts...

  9. Let the light of a lamp illuminate our hearts and minds

  10. A little prayer by children goes a long way

  12. Treasurer of our partner NGO is honouring chief guest, a shy mayor of the village

  13. CHILD Foundation is honouring a village elder

  14. Gynaecologist, Dr. PragyaSaroha, is being introduced

  15. Paediatrician, Dr. KapilSaroha, is next
