Innovation partnership between the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and VDE • 9th April 2008: First Meeting of the Steering Committee • Aim of the Partnership • Development of a network including Research, Industry and End User • Public relations for a positive presentation and growing acceptance of technical solutions • Development and evaluation of ideas, concepts and pilot projects in some regions • Active cooperation in the national/international standardization • The Partnership expired in March 2012

  23. 2nd German AAL Standardization Roadmap • Publication of the 2nd AAL Standardization Roadmap is planned for January 2014 • New topics that were discussed in the 2nd AAL-Symposium will be added in the Roadmap: • Technics and interoperability • Qualification • AAL in buildings and flats • Other requirements from the first Roadmap will be revised • Furthermore a timeline and the responsibilities for the solution of problems and activities will be noted • The technical part and list of standard will be updated
