LME Technical Training Strategy Home Page LME has adopted a blended 3-level technical training strategy consisting of classroom and online training. The underlying principle behind this 3 Level technical training strategy is to eliminate the “Parts Changer” mentality and increase the technical skills of our workforce by developing effective systems troubleshooters. LME Technical Training Strategy Level 1 General Theory Level 1 Web Based Training (WBT) courses cover basic Hydraulics, Electrical, Mechanical, and AC Drive System theories and principles and are generic in nature (not product specific). Level 1 courses serve as a prerequisite to Level 2 training and are designed to provide Field service technicians with the basic technical skills necessary for them to be prepared for taking the Level 2 product specific technical training. LME Technical Training Strategy Level 2 Familiarization and Operation Level 2 technical training expands on the knowledge acquired in Level 1 technical training. Level 2 training is product specific and focuses on the system and component description, location, and theory of operation. It is intended to provide field service technicians with the operational foundation needed prior to attending the Level 3 troubleshooting course. Level 2 training is available for T282 B and T282C hydraulics/mechanical, electrical, and AC drive systems. Level 2 training is available in Web Based Training format only. LME Technical Training Strategy Level 3 Practical Application of Knowledge Level 3 technical training expands on the knowledge acquired in Levels 1 & 2 technical training. Level 3 is product specific Troubleshooting based on the major truck systems (i.e., hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and Drive System).
