  3. Picnik – Photo Editing Once a photo is uploaded, the “Edit” tab provides different editing options: Rotate, Crop, Resize, Explore, Colors, Sharpen, Red Eye Advanced Features Auto-fix Colors Auto Colors Neutral Picker Undo/Reset Photo Editing: FAME!

  4. Picnik – Photo Creation Many different options to modify photo Clear distinction between regular and “Premium” tools Photo Creation: FAME!

  5. Picnik – Usability Great use of animations. Decent reversibility of actions. The browser ‘back’ button undoes your last navigation action. Undo button, but no <ctrl>+z Widespread use of tooltips. Good use of feedback. Usability: FAME!

  6. Picnik – Accessibility The full page of the application is implemented in flash. Can easily choose from many different languages. Accessibility: SHAME!

  7. Picnik – Problems Some pages too busy. Some inconsistent / useless tooltips. Pervasive pressure to upgrade to ‘premium’. Problems: SHAME!
