Money Part 1 • League of Legends is a great example of a micro-transaction funded game. The base game is entirely free to play, with players picking from over 70 champions. Every week, 10 champions are free to play
Money Part 2 • Every game played gives “IP”, which can be used to unlock champions and powerups. • Basically, more time spent playing = better things in game. • Cash can also be spent to instantly unlock champions, increase IP gain rates, and buy skins for champions
