  2. KIM IL-SUNG: Founder of North Korea, who passed on July 8, 1994 at age 82, stays "Unceasing President" of the state he established with Soviet help after World War Two. REUTERS/Handout

  3. KIM JONG-IL: Known at home as "the Dear Leader," Kim assumed control North Korea in 1994 when his dad and author of the hermitic state Kim Il-sung, known as "the Great Leader," passed on. Kim, who was 69 years of age, kicked the bucket of a heart assault while on a prepare journey.

  8. KIM JONG CHOL: Older sibling of Kim Jong Un, Jong Chol is purportedly a music fan who has little enthusiasm for governmental issues. Inquired as to whether Jong Chol, could run North Korea, deserter Thae Yong Ho was doubtful. "Kim Jong Chol has no enthusiasm for governmental issues. He is just inspired by music," Thae said.
