  1. Houses withHistoryLångören´s Missionshus Built 1937-38, sponsored by the ladies of the localsewing-circle. Interiorrestored 1955. Back wallpaintingby the local artist Ivar Gustafsson. OwnerLångören´s ”Alliansmissionsförening” (ecumenicfreechurch), transferedtoLångören´s Community Society 1982, finallytoLångören´sCulturalSociety 2010. Restoration step 1, exterior 2010 financed by the governmentalproject ”Houses withHistory” 86 000 SEK, by private donations 106 000 SEK and by the CulturalSocietyaccount 6500 SEK. The buildingprojectincludingcarpentry, painting, chimneywork, platework,etcwasaccomplishedby the buildingcompany Jämjö Bygg in Aug-Sept2010. The total costwas 198 500 SEK/ab. 30000 USD. Besidesthis, localinhabitantsdid550 hoursvolunteerwork (transports, basicpainting, etc). Restoration step 2, interior 2011. Thiswork is scheduled for June thisyear, depending on financing, costcalculatedto ab. 90 000 SEK/14 000 USD. Aquarelle by Eric Rembert 1966
