(foundation) promotes actively the culturale assets and artists of The Low Countries.JongArt developpes and conducts its own projects but also participates in initiatives of interesting collegues. • JongArt Vzw is managing the catalogues of JongArt Publishing. We focuse on two major items: 1. publishing and distribution of contemporary Latin-American composers. The continious grow of our offaresuerswill stretch soon to music of the 19th, early and mid 20th century. Duetoitssocialresponsability, JongArt vzw is conducting programs with focus on people in need. In “Musica de Cama-Ra” the spotlight is set on patients (in pain) hospitalizedfor a long time. The concert aimstoraise funds toorganizeconcerts as a relaxingmomentsandpainrelever in hospitalsandpalliativecentres.

4. GioraFeidman&GitanesBlondes “Giora Feidman” A living piece of music history of over 50 years "Giora Feidman, that is a short definition of this artist. He first appeared on the world stage with his clarinet as a modest musician. In the course of five decades, Giora Feidman become a phenomenon. He is an artist, a discoverer and a sensation. In addition, he became atirelessAmbassador of music and peace with an actual appearance.Giora Feidman was born in Buenos Aires. Argentina on 25 March 1936 as the son of a Jewish immigrant. Music is in his blood: his father was a musician, like his grandfather."From the very beginning, starting from the day of my birth, music has accompanied me. It is the human voice, which in almost all cases, is our first contact with music. A voice hits us with the song, singing calms us, makes us happy. For me it were the Yiddish songs that my mother sung when I was a little kid. Later as a young musician, it was the music of Schubert. I grew up with these different sounds around me. I learned a lot from both musical directions and both remain even today very sweet to me. "

5. GioraFeidman&GitanesBlondes “Very Klezmer” "This is pure Klezmer" Giora Feidman says as he describes his latest albumin a nutschell. For this collaboration chose the Grand Master for the Munich-based ensemble Gitanes Blondes. Giora Feidman enters now new roads. So far were his klezmerline-ups groups that he had assembled himself adapting to his own sound. According to Giora Feidman KlezmerGitannes Blondes is the best he so far has encountered.

GioraFeidman&GitanesBlondes “Gitanes Blondes “ was founded in 1999 by violinist Mario Korunić.Mario Korunić, Konstantin Ischenko (accordion), Christoph Peters (guitar) and Simon Ackermann (double bass). All are classicaly trained and all have acquired many prizes. They stand for the joy of playing together that goes beyond the classical frontiers through exploring Jazz, Klezmer and Balkan Folk. They look over and over again to a joint way of expression. As an ensemble they have already proven they superior qualities at various international venues and festivals. Their discography includes already cd’s.

But according to Giora Feidman’s conviction, it will only stay alive when the culture of klezmeralso contains newlycontemporarymelodies are composed: songs of today. And what better opportunity the contemporary klezmer will encounter than with the dialogue between the different generations?
