2. Ongoing Activities of the IEEE Nigeria Section Membership Drives Registration/Renewals/Upgrades/Benefits/Certifications
IEEE Projects UI/IEEE/HP Telecenter, the 1st in West Africa, among other Computer Labs donated through the IEEE
Volunteer Trainings for all exco and non-exco members in all organised units (OUs)
Administration Members & Student Branches
Conferences such as Nigercon 2010, ICAST 2011, and Nigercon 2012.
Collaboration with other professional bodies such as the NIEEE, APWEN, and the NSE
Introduction of IEEE Standards into the Nigeria local content
Organizing Technical Meetings
Other Affinity Groups/Societies activities such as the Distinguished Lecturer programs for Communications Society, Power & Energy Society and the newly rescurscitated Women In Engineering (WIE) AG

3. EPICS in IEEE New Initiative
EPICS (http://epics-high.ecn.purdue.edu/)
Organizes university and high-school students to work on engineering-related projects for local area non-profit organizations.
Conceived and championed by IEEE 2007 President Leah Jamieson.
EPICS in IEEE - New Initiative
Empowers student branches and IEEE GOLD groups to work with high school students on EPICS community service-related engineering projects
4. Principal Outcome Establishment of a relationship between the student branches in each of the participating Sections, a local high school (or schools), and non-profit or humanitarian organizations in each venue.
Focus on development by university and high school student teams of devices and systems for the benefit of the target audiences of the non-profit community partners.
