Reflection and Sharing • Reflecting on using interactive activities in your classroom • Let’s play a game!
Group Scoop • In the next 3 minutes, on 4 different index cards, please give 4 different answers to the following question: • What important insights did you gain by using (or participating in) interactive activities in your classroom? • Note: It doesn’t have to be one of Thiagi’s games – it could be any non-traditional approach that you have used in class.
Group Scoop • Choose 3 cards from the bag • Arrange your 3 cards according to how strongly you agree with the response • If you’d like, you can exchange 1 or more of your cards for different cards from the bag • Time Limit: 3 Minutes
Group Scoop • Compare your cards with others around you and form a Team. • Each Team must now choose the 3 cards that meet with everyone’s approval in the Team. • Time Limit: 3 Minutes
Group Scoop • Create a poster that NON-VERBALLY reflects the 3 response cards that your Team has chosen • Time Limit: 3 Minutes
Group Scoop • Read your 3 cards to the entire group • Display your poster
