Continuous improvement Framework • Key principles: • Continuous improvement integral to Institute’s QMS • range of accessible quality tools aimed at assisting in improving the quality of products and services • ADRI model as basis for continuous improvement activities

What is IQANET? • The TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute Audit Application • Integral part of Institute’s Quality Management System • Conduct of /preparation for Internal Quality Audits • Three levels of access: • Administrator • Auditors • All staff
Objectives The objectives of the IQANET are to: • Facilitate an understanding of the Institute’s Internal Quality Audit process • Provide a tool to assist the Internal Quality Audit process and support internal quality auditors and auditees • Ensure quality assurance of our systems and processes

What is Improvement Request (IR)? • Mechanism for all staff to contribute their suggestions for improvements • Types of improvements include, new policy, new procedure, review of procedure
What are the key principles of IR? Key principles of IR system are: • Address improvements that cannot be addressed through a phone call/face to face/ email • The request has not been lodged before (Search) • The request is within control of the Institute
