  2. How to Play the Combot Card Game Any number of people can play (at least 2). Shuffle and deal all the cards face down. Each player holds his/her cards face up, in the palm of the hand. Players can only look at their topmost card. The player to the dealer’s left starts by selecting a category from the topmost card, and reading out its name and value (for instance “weapon 35”). The other players then read out the value of the same category from their cards. The winner is the one with the largest value, taking all cards from the “trick” and placing them at the bottom of his/her pile. It is then the winner’s turn to choose a category from the next card. In the event of a draw, the same caller chooses another category from the same cards at play. The winner is the player, involved in the draw, with the highest value for the new category. Players are eliminated when they lose their last card. The winner is the player who obtains the whole pack. The categories are SPEED (the combot top speed, in miles per hour), DRIVETRAIN (percentage of the robot weight spent in the drive system), WEAPON (percentage spent in the weapon system), ARMOR (spent in the entire structure and armor) and BATTERY (weight percentage spent in the electronics, batteries and other power sources).
