  7. Math, maTH, MATH!! Math is amazing - math is everywhere. This month we will have some fun with MATH JOKES, RIDDLES & PUNS! What does Mr Steeves call friends who love math? His ‘Algebros’! Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

  8. Coming SOON!!!! Do you want to join in the coolest event of the year! Do you want to be the ‘champ’ of the school? Worsley is going to have a HUGE Connect 4 tournament - anyone in grade 2 or older - staff included! A class list sign up is coming around Wed - tomorrow!

  9. * Wellness Break - Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time. The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity. No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.

  10. SUNDAY LEGION SPEECH FINALS Congrats to our amazing finalists who represented Worsley on Sunday at the Legion Regional Speech Finals. In Junior: 1st - Hannah and 3rd - Dani In Intermediate: 1st - Sara and 2nd - Alex Way to go!!!!

  13. Chess Club Time: Wednesday - 10:50 - 11:20 Place: Library Coach: Mr. Knox All grade 4 to grade 8 students are welcome to join the chess club. Food and drinks are not permitted. Have a snack in your class before you come. You may bring your own chess board.

  14. Intermediate Girls’ Volleyball: Practice today at morning break. Don’t forget your permission slips for our game at Birchview Dunes after school today.

  15. Heidi and Kobe Ms.McQuarrie Showed Kindness: They found a frozen mitten on the yard and made sure to bring it to the lost and found so the person’s missing mitten may be found. Emma Thomas Mrs. Vendalwekcle Showed Kindness: Emma cleaned up her spill at breakfast club without being asked. Caught - Ya Kindness Violet Young Gr 2 Mrs.Fuller Showed Kindness: Helped a classmate pick up markers that were spilled on the floor. Lane Macdonald Gr 6 Mateo Williams /Mrs.Venus Showed Kindness: I saw Lane give another student money so they can participate in the Valentine’s Day dance. Josh.B Gr 7 Mr. Freebody Showed Kindness: Asked a friend to make sure she if she was ok and to wish her good luck on her speech. Dax Mrs. Ottawell Showed Kindness: Voluntarily cleaning out a friend’s desk. Kiana Mme. Breitbach Showed Kindness: When Tatum was sad and was crying she came over and cheered her up. Mrs.Hesselink Showed Kindness: Mrs.Hesselink would like to thank the person who helped find her missing fob. Andy Gr 3 Mrs. Cober Showed Kindness: Such a good friend to Isaiah. Maddux Mrs. Ottawell Showed Kindness: Helped organize and clean a friend’s desk. Gracie - Lynn Mrs. Ottawell Showed Kindness: Has been such a nice friend to a classmate.
