  1. What does God want the most from you? (NLT)

  2. Mark 9:6 Jesus replied, “You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote, ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. (NLT)

  3. Mark 9:7-8 Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.’ For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.” (NLT)

  4. Mark 12:18 Then Jesus was approached by some Sadducees—religious leaders who say there is no resurrection from the dead. They posed this question: (NLT)

  5. Mark 12:19 “Teacher, Moses gave us a law that if a man dies, leaving a wife without children, his brother should marry the widow and have a child who will carry on the brother’s name. (NLT)

  6. Mark 12:20 Well, suppose there were seven brothers. The oldest one married and then died without children. (NLT)

  7. Mark 12:21 So the second brother married the widow, but he also died without children. Then the third brother married her. (NLT)

  8. Mark 12:22 This continued with all seven of them, and still there were no children. Last of all, the woman also died. (NLT)

  9. Mark 12:23 So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her.” (NLT)

  10. Mark 12:24 Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God. (NLT)

  11. Mark 12:25 For when the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven. (NLT)

  12. Mark 12:26 “But now, as to whether the dead will be raised—haven’t you ever read about this in the writings of Moses, in the story of the burning bush? (NLT)

  13. Mark 12:26 Long after Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had died, God said to Moses, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ (NLT)

  14. Mark 12:27 So he is the God of the living, not the dead. You have made a serious error.” (NLT)

  15. Mark 12:28 One of the teachers of religious law was standing there listening to the debate. (NLT)

  16. Mark 12:28 He realized that Jesus had answered well, so he asked, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” (NLT)

  17. Mark 12:29 Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. (NLT)

  18. Mark 12:30 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ (NLT)

  19. Mark 12:31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” (NLT)

  20. Mark 12:32 The teacher of religious law replied, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth by saying that there is only one God and no other. (NLT)

  21. Mark 12:33 And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. (NLT)

  22. Mark 12:33 This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law.” (NLT)

  23. Matthew 23:4 They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden. (NLT)

  24. Matthew 23:5 “Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels. (NLT)

  25. Matthew 23:23 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, (NLT)

  26. Matthew 23:23 but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. (NLT)

  27. Matthew 23:24 Blind guides! You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel! (NLT)

  28. Matthew 23:25 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! (NLT)

  29. Matthew 23:25 For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and self-indulgence! (NLT)

  30. Matthew 23:26 You blind Pharisee! First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too. (NLT)

  31. Mark 12:34 Realizing how much the man understood, Jesus said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And after that, no one dared to ask him any more questions. (NLT)

  32. Matthew 22:40 "The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments." (NLT)

  33. What does God want from us? (How should we live?)

  34. Hosea 6:4 “O Israel and Judah, what should I do with you?” asks the LORD. “For your love vanishes like the morning mist and disappears like dew in the sunlight. (NLT)

  35. Hosea 6:5 I sent my prophets to cut you to pieces— to slaughter you with my words, with judgments as inescapable as light. (NLT)

  36. Hosea 6:6 I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings. (NLT)

  37. What does God want the most from you? (NLT)
