  4. Summary of MCTC on line Core general education courses on line for Nursing and Allied Health:Psychology (General and Lifespan),Biology (Nutrition, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, General Biology, Human Biology),Chemistry (general) Associate Degree Online

  5. MCTC’s Students • 40% students of color • 14% non-native English speakers, 81 languages • 44% are economically disadvantaged • Average age is 27 • 37% are first generation college • At least 10% are single parents • Many live within 7 miles of campus and many ride the bus

Development of New Health Career Programs at MCTC • Health Care Core Curriculum (fall 2004) • Polysomnography Technology (fall 2005) • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist • Food Service Worker (fall 2006) • Community Health Worker (spring 2005) • Central Services Technician (fall of 2005) • Clinical Herbalism (fall 2006) • Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (fall 2006) • Dental Office Support (fall 2005)
