Shotput as it has larger mass! Momentum: describes the “quantity of motion” of a moving object - it is the product of an object’s mass and velocity Note: momentum is a vector quantity units: kgm/s

Ans: a) 1.5 kgm/s [West] b) 7.2 kgm/s [East] Impulse An object’s momentum changes when it accelerates. A net, unbalanced force acting on an object causes it to change its momentum!
