A B Supplementary on line FIG. S4. Western (A) and Northern (B) analysis of leaf areas agroinfiltrated with a combination of each of the three constructs expressing the three OuMV genomic RNAs (identified at the top of each lane) and processed 5 days post agroinfiltration. For the western analysis the top panel displays reaction with antibodies for the movement protein (MP), the middle panel displays reaction with antibodies for the coat protein (CP) and the bottom panel displays the total protein loadings on an SDS-PAGE gel stained with the Coomassie dye. The arrows indicate the position of the MP and CP bands in the Western blot. In the Northern analysis, from the top panel, minus strand and plus strand probes for RNA 1, minus strand and plus strand probes for RNA2 and minus strand and plus strand probes for RNA3 were hybridized with replicas of the same blot. The bottom panel shows rRNA stained with methylene blue on the membrane. MP and CP bands in the Western analysis. The numbers expressing the size of the marker bands are in kDa and kb respectively for western and Northern blots.
