Subject Wise Exam Analysis The English section is of the level between easy to moderate including questions from reading comprehension, jumbled sentences, idioms, vocabulary. The passages aren't too long, and the questions from the passage are direct. Overall, it is quite a manageable section. Business and General Awareness is tough usually with questions ranging from business and economics to books and authors and the syllabus is quite vast. Expect a lot of questions from business knowledge. Your accuracy matters a lot and one should remember that there is negative marking. Logical Reasoning is moderate to tough. More focus should be on analytical reasoning and less on verbal reasoning. Some common topics are Seating arrangement, statement assumption, clock and calendar, cubes, series, Statement Conclusion, and Analogies. Last of all comes Quantitative Reasoning. Most students are not extraordinary at maths plus this section becomes really tough for its higher maths. Geometry, Matrices and determinants, Vectors, Probability are all higher maths topics which are mixed and matched with some simpler topics like Time and work, Average, Equations, Logarithm, Trigonometry and such.
Group Discussion Overview In the group discussion, one should expect a management or economics based topic. Here you will be marked on your knowledge about the topic, your communication, presentation skills your body language and leadership qualities. Be thorough with current affairs because most likely you will get a topic related to business or economics from latest news. Take your turn to speak and a measured stable tone should be adopted. The first and last speaker get the most attention. If you go first then introduce the topic in brief and when you are the last to speak then wind up with mentioning all opinions voiced in favor of the topic and against and conclude. Each speaker must introduce himself/ herself with their name alone or with name and some important detail. The personal interview will include you talking about yourself, your hobbies, and education and your interest in the business domain. Stay confident, calm, collected and smile in a measured way to earn extra points. GD and PI both should be taken with a confident manner but not in an over confident way.
