What is the Climate of Canada? • Weather is warm in the Eastern Lowlands • Rocky and cold in Canadian shield • Windy and frozen in Canada’s far north • The North pole is not very far away • It is snowy in the winter • The summer is hot • Snow covers most of the land from late November to the middle of March • It is the coldest in the northern and central plains
