Sources • VOC’s come from household products including: • Paints, paint strippers, wood preservatives, aerosol sprays, cleansers and disinfectants; moth repellents and air fresheners, stored fuels and automotive products, dry-cleaned clothing. • http://www.epa.gov/iaq/voc.html
Human Health • Exposure to VOC’s can cause things such as eye, nose, and throat irritation; headaches, loss of coordination, nausea; damage to liver, kidney, and central nervous system, nose and throat discomfort, headache, allergic skin reaction, nausea, fatigue, dizziness. • http://www.epa.gov/iaq/voc.html
