Founded in the 1960’s to provide competition on a wider scale than league galas. Has 3 rounds, Oct, Nov, Dec with a final in the following April. There are 3 divisions, Premier, 1 and 2. 1 and 2 are split into East and West. We swim in Division 2 West. Hants and South Coast League.

Founded in the 1960’s to provide competition on a wider scale than league galas. Has 3 rounds, Oct, Nov, Dec with a final in the following April. There are 3 divisions, Premier, 1 and 2. 1 and 2 are split into East and West. We swim in Division 2 West
Hants and South Coast League This League was merged with the Rother League in 2006 and is made up of 7 separate competitions. Of these, we swim in 3; The Rother League, Rother League Junior Trophy and the Junior Cup.
Rother League • Age groups from U11 up to Open • 50m races • We swim in division 4 E • We came 4th this year • 4 Saturdays June- October
Junior Cup • For swimmers under 14 • Under 11, Under 12 and Under 13 swim 50 m races, Under 14 swim 100m • All relays are 25m • We swim in division 3 • This year we were 4th • 2 Saturdays – September and October
Rother League Junior Trophy • For swimmers under 14 years of age • Swum in one round with 50 m races for all • We swim in the ‘East’ division and this year were 2nd
Wey Valley Junior League • 2 rounds – Jan – March • Has time penalties for swimmers who swim too fast!!
Sussex League • 3 rounds – March – June • Currently we are 5th in the League Table and swim in Division 2 • Open and U16 swim 100m races, rest 50m • 2 swimmers per event
County Championships 2011 • These are for swimmers who have gained County Times at licensed meets throughout the year. • These were held over the weekends of 19th & 20th Feb and 19th & 20th March 2011 • The following swimmers took part (apologies if I’ve missed anyone!) Abbie Turner, Anna Turner, Molly Whatmore, Katie Trethewey, Joe Hill, Sam West, Oliver Bonar
Club Championships • Well attended and a great atmosphere • Well done especially to Abbie Turner, Jacob West and Darren Sims who all broke records. • Excellent time at the Inglenook, Thanks Tony and Sarah!!
Open Meets • There are many to choose from over the course of the year. Adverts will appear on the board and website. • They are an excellent way to gain experience and the ONLY way to qualify for the County Championships. • Gives opportunities to compete in a wide variety of strokes and distances • I will be running an information workshop for Parents in the near future to explain how they work!!
Personal Best Times • Results from meets/galas will be displayed on the notice board and increasingly on the website. • Make a note of times!! • Swim Club Manager Software
