  21. Project Center Project Center provides multiple summarised and aggregated views across your project portfolio including graphical indicators and timelines

  22. Resource Center by Resource Resource Center provides total resource availability views across your project. The red line represents total capacity for selected resources. This information can also be viewed by project.

  23. PMM Levels • Level 1 – Crisis Management • No formal project plans or procedures exist. Project management tools are not in use. • Level 2 – Reactive Management • Formal requirements exist to produce schedules and cost reports at project initiation but reporting after project initiation is left to the discretion of the project manager. Informal project management tools such as Microsoft Excel are in use. • Level 3 – Project Management • Proactive project management at the individual project level is in place. Desktop project management tools such as Microsoft Project Standard or Professional Edition are in use. • Level 4 – Program Management • Project management processes are formal and include methods and practices for planning and managing multiple projects and resources across them. Collaborative project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server are in use. • Level 5 – Managing Excellence • The focus is on continuous improvement and identifying and addressing project management problems that cross organizational boundaries and require management action. Tools such as Microsoft Portfolio Server are in use.
