Process of preparing master plan INTERGRATION Environment Economic Transportation Gray Infrastructure Green Infrastructure Housing
Land Control Principles: • Sensitive areas and areas with high habitat level should be identified and conserved. • Design and plan green infrastructure before development • 40% of the total area must be green area • All green areas should be linked Main ideas: • Conserve environment before development • Sufficient green infrastructure • Link between Green Areas • Connect to nature • Biophilicdesign • Conservation of existing habitats
Linkages Principles: • Roads should be designed to reduce private vehicle • Road design should be in respect to human scale • Slow traffic movement in neighborhood • Avoid conflict point Main ideas: • Reduce motorize transport • Reduce vehicle-pedestrian accident • Promote Street safety • Avoid arteries road in neighborhood area • Street network pattern design
