  3. Profile Your Profile is your Snapshot, it is what makes a recruiter read on! Do not use needless Adjectives! Excellent, Dynamic, these are all shown within your CV not Written!

  4. Work History This should be the bulk of your CV, DO NOT WRITE YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION, NOBODY CARES! Write brief points on responsibility Reverse Chronological (Most recent first)

  5. Education As with Work History – Reverse Chronological order Dates, Qualification and Grade DO NOT INCLUDE UNITS COVERED WITHIN QUALIFICATION.

  6. Personal Details This includes your Hobbies and interests, also any professional membership you may be accredited to DO NOT WRITE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY!!! AS RECRUITERS WE DO NOT NEED TO KNOW!

  7. References Do not give references at this stage. This is crucial, you are giving permission for these to be contacted by publishing their names and also you are putting your application at risk, these are your managers. Therefore seen as better candidates.

  8. Key points If you require a uniform space DO NOT GUESS WITH SPACE BAR use Tab key Punctuation and Spelling mistakes will be picked up. This is the most important document you will write. This is your image in writing... You do not want to look sloppy or slap dash
