2. - Day 1 - - Day 2 - Today we will spend the entire day exploring Escape Reef. Departing from Port Douglas Marina, you will be welcomed on board by our friendly crew before enjoying a light breakfast while we cast off and steam to the beautiful Mackay Reef. A popular fishing spot, you can throw a line in and try for Giant Trevally’s, Coral Trout, Yellowfin, plus a wide variety of reef species. On arrival, you will be able to disembark the vessel and explore the sand cay and surrounding reef on kayaks or by snorkelling. All meals, snorkelling, fishing activities and water sports can be enjoyed at your own leisure. After a full day, relax on deck watch the sunset with evening drinks followed by dinner. Back on board, a light lunch will be will be served while we cruise to Escape Reef. - Day 3 - Escape Reef is the perfect spot for an afternoon of snorkelling, fishing and other available water sport activities. Dive in the beautiful blue water for a morning swim before we depart for North Opal Reef, enjoying breakfast on the way. Then sit back and watch the sun set over the horizon while sipping champagne with canapés on the upper fly deck before dinner in the main saloon. Arrive at North Opal to enjoy magnificent snorkelling in crystal clear waters along the north reef wall. Here you’ll see an abundance of reef fish, soft and hard corals and possibly some lagoon rays. Fishing, snorkelling and water sport activities to be enjoyed at your leisure for the remainder of the afternoon or simply relax on deck and soak up the Queensland sunshine. 3. - Day 4 - Take a morning snorkel with the local, big and beautiful Maori wrasse that populate the reef. After breakfast we’ll head to the south end of Opal Reef for more snorkelling before our departure to Tongue Reef. Here we’ll enjoy lunch and one last snorkel where you’ll see green sea turtles, giant clams as well as a variety of reef fish as well as soft and hard corals.
