  3. My Accomplishments

My Accomplishments (cont.) • I was commissioned to be the brigadier general on the New Hampshire Militia • I was part of the New Hampshire Committee of safety • Most importantly I represented New Hampshire in the Continental Congress in the years 1776-79and signed the Declaration of Independence.

  5. My Jobs • Earlier in my life I worked as a merchant. A very common job. • I became a soldier in the Revolutionary War. • I also was a justice in the Superior Court after the war.

  6. My Marriage • I was married to Katherine Mofatt in 1770 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. • Sadly it did not work out and I got divorced within a year.

  7. My Religion

  8. My Late Life and Sad Death • After the War, I became an associate justice of the Superior Court in 1782 • I died though three years later on November 28, 1785 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire • My burial is in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
