Take the words of prophecy in their normal literal, grammatical sense
An Example • The Abrahamic Covenant is unconditional, eternal, unilateral, literal
When the normal sense makes good sense, seek no other sense.
Be aware of time gaps • Example : • Dan. 9:24-27; • John 5:28,29
Always interpret a seemingly vague passage in light of a clear passage related to it.
An Example • On the issue of salvation : Compare Eph. 2:8,9 with Phil. 2:12. It is clear salvation is not based on works!
