Thought Leader Forum: Sustaining Our Community of Practice Approach As the IDEA Partnership approaches its last year of funding, the CoP meeting will have a specific purpose: • To ascertain the interest in the CoP strategy. • To determine if we will reconstitute to preserve the convening role around school behavioral health in states and across states. • To design how this will happen and who will take leadership roles. • To plan with existing centers and services to integrate this approach into their work. Nat'l CoP on School Behavioral Health
Thought Leader Forum: Sponsorship Sponsorship in the meeting will differ from the past meetings: • We will partially fund participation as we are able with the remaining funds. • We ask that only state teams and organizations with a serious commitment to the CoP strategy seek funding support from the IDEA Partnership • We can provide registration and a $300 reimbursement of expenses, with receipts for: • two individuals from each state team • one representative from each practice group. • one representative from each national organization Nat'l CoP on School Behavioral Health
CoPSustainability • What is the value of the convening role around school mental health in states and across states? • What need does convening address for states? • What need does the convening address across states and stakeholders? • Can we preserve the convener role beyond IDEA Partnership funding? • Who could keep the focus on school mental health and the connections among those that work in the landscape of school mental health? • Which activities are essential? • Who could lead the activities?
