Reassure (verb) • To say or do something to remove the doubts and fears of someone. • My mother reassured me that there are no such things as vampires.
Declivity (noun) • A descending slope • The cabin is precariously perched on a declivity of the mountain's northern face.
Ensnare (verb) • To catch in a trap. • The rabbit was ensnared by the carrot and shoebox trick. • Parents sometimes try to ensnare their teenagers ina lie.

Mincing (verb) • Elegant in gait, manner, and speech; walking with short steps. • To chop, grind, or cut into very small pieces; to soften or moderate in order to be polite (Needs a direct object) • He saw a chicken go mincing by, so he ran after it. • I did not mince my words when he made me upset.
Perturb (verb) • To make someone anxious or unsettled • It perturbs me when I go home and there are dirty dishes all over the place.
Cantankerous (adjective) • Bad tempered, uncooperative, argumentative • The cantankerous old man yelled at everyone who crossed in front of his yard.
