Our Mission for the Centennial of Naval Aviation 2011
E N D
Our Mission for the Centennial of Naval Aviation 2011 Our mission for the Centennial of Naval Aviation is to recognize the amazing accomplishments that have been made over the past century by the tens of thousands of men and women who have honorably served in the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. While the machines capture the imagination, it is the human element that we inspire to pay tribute. We salute the men and women in uniform and their civilian partners who dreamed, designed, manufactured and maintained the weaponry to preserve our freedoms and way of life. Thus we honor our uniformed men and women as well as our stakeholders in industry that have made this partnership so successful. Lastly, for the youth of our country, we hope to challenge and inspire them to continue to strive for the next generation of aviation accomplishments by embracing math, science and the true magic of flight. To the human element we dedicate the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation 2011.
