  3. BACKGROUND • Sikika has implemented SAM in 10 districts for the strategic plan 2011 – 2015. • In the period it has formed 13 committees, with 202 trained community members(134 male and 68 female) • Evidences from SAM shared at policy level

  7. Implementation processes: Field Verification: “ Do you see a dispensary building here?” asked a village elder. LGA report indicated that funds were sent to Mlembule village, Mpwapwa district to finalise construction of a dispensary.

  14. Poor working & living conditions for health workers at some facilities

  15. Nice looking health facility buildings but unimproved sanitation… Before SAM After SAM…
