Welcome • Introductions: • TJ Greenier • Neil McCaffrey • Our Vision • Facilitate outdoor activities during winter months • Provide access to wintersport activities for all Katz students • Further the social networking & interactions between full- and part-time students • Have fun and meet new people! katz snowsports club

Goals for Today • Gauge student interests / generate dialogue • Create network for snowsport activities • Share our ideas about events this year • 1 main trip in coming months • Coordinate informal, social trips more frequently • Take away information for further discussions with Seven Springs • Free lift-ticket give away! katz snowsports club

  4. Wintersport Activities • not limited to skiing/snowboarding! • Snow Tubing • Snowshoeing tours • Snowmobile tours • Snowcat rides • Sleigh rides • Or - just hanging out at the Foggy Goggle lounge! katz snowsports club

Events in the works • 1 main trip – Spring 2007 • To Seven Springs Mountain in Laurel Highlands • 1 weekend day, likely a Sunday • Provide safe, discounted transportation to/from (~1 hour east of Pittsburgh) • Host on-slope competition - NASTAR Team Race • Provide discounted access to wintersports, including equipment rentals & lessons • Social gathering at Foggy Goggle Lounge • Informal gatherings throughout year • Again, at Seven Springs • Ride sharing to/from • Socialize/gather on the slopes and off • Working to negotiate further discounts for Katz katz snowsports club

Take Away • Late arrivals please sign-in • Finalize e-mail distribution list – main form of communication with and amongst membership • Used to communicate with you, including formal trip details • Coordinate/meet up with fellow students for various activities (know who’s going) • Free lift tickets give away! katz snowsports club
