  2. Good induction • Access to, and encouragement to attend, key/senior meetings and events • Work/projects identified by negotiation • Clear objectives/outcomes/timescales for pieces of work -including re. achieving Learning Outcomes • Regular 1-to-1 meetings

  3. Balance between focussing on the specific attachment and the StR’s overall training experience • Being part of the team • Time/opportunity to attend ‘Training Prog.’ events/meetings • Opportunity to work with a wide range of people – in and out of PH • Being based with other StRs – or if not having adequate opportunity to network

  4. Being encouraged to challenge and get involved – not just observe
