(KSA’s for Fed Gov’t) • In a quick scan, will it land you an interview? • Do you have Multiple Versions of your resume or are you willing to adapt it?

Something Old, Something New SOMETHING OLD…..Not used now • Interests, Hobbies, Personal Info • Reference Names or “References available on request” (If requested, use additional page) • Objective • Complete Sentences • Contact Info (Cell? E-mail? Website or Blog?) • Chronological Order SOMETHING NEW……Re-Format! • Targeted, Skills Based Resume with Professional Summary

  6. Before & After Cover Letter • #1: Why are you applying? (connections?) • #2: Resume highlights & expanded details • #3: Thanks & Follow-up Follow-Up Strategy? After you send your resume, then what?
