Education Salary Credit General Information • To be eligible for a salary increase for this year, all coursework, transcripts and supporting documentation must be completed and submitted through iVisionsno later than October 15th this year. • Any credits less than 10 years old that you are not already being compensated for, should be submitted as completed courses. • Please refer to your coursework verification sheet or contact Kris Hodgkins (x4015). • To request pre-approval (not required) of a course or to submit your completed courses, you mustalways use iVisions. • Visions Self-Service Portal • * Login* Click on My Workflow* Click on Coursework October 15th Deadline Use iVisions
Salary Credit • The allocation of monies for Professional Growth for future school years is determined by the Governing Board annually based on available funding. • Administrators who submit eligible coursework (meeting the requirements in Terms & Conditions), may be compensated and the rate will be determined by the Governing Board (for 2011-12 the rate is $80 per credit hour)
Looking Ahead … 2011-2012 • All coursework must be completed and submitted through iVisions by October 15, 2011to be eligible for possible compensation in the 2011-2012 school year. • All future decisions regarding compensation are determined annually by the Governing Board and based on availability of funds. • Starting in 2012 all credits must be annually claimed by Feb. 15 for consideration in the following year.
To add a course for preapproval (this is not required; however, you may wish to secure approval for a course or out of District workshop if you are unsure whether or not it meets the standards identified in Meet & Confer.The 1st step is to log into iVisions and select Coursework under employee resources:
Once you have logged in, you will have the option to submit a course for pre-approval or to submit a completed course.
While course pre-approval is not required, you may wish to submit a course or out-of-District pre-approval request to ensure it meets the Professional Growth Standards. Based on the course type you select, certain fields become mandatory – indicated by the red arrows. When finished, click OK to submit.
To submit a completed course record, make sure you have your transcript or certificate scanned and saved before you begin. Again, based on the course type you select, certain fields become mandatory – indicated by the red arrows. You will not be able to submit (click Ok) unless you attach your transcript/ certificate of completion. When finished, click OK to submit.
