Organizing method: Locality: Stresses consensus and cooperation Sense of community and their input is valued Because of this everyone feels like they have a part in the development
Who can help us reach our goals? 1) Our community is the population were addressing, however there are other people involved in getting the project started Investors Town Councils and Committees Government and state funding
We need you! Grass-Roots approach: This means that you have an important role in this project We need you to be on board so that we can help improve this community by giving opportunity to create things such as: -better health -more jobs -a closer community -Keep population growing
BarriersTo achieve our goals it’s going to take work and cooperation from the community. We understand that there are probably hesitations due to some obstacles that may arise. Some examples of some barriers to our success include: Finding the right lead organization and leaders that you can trust Lack of a common vision, or the inability to agree on specific goals, objectives, and activities History of the community and Failure to Act And finally The Cost

We hope at this point you are wondering how you can get involved in this and ways to help. 1)There will be sheets at the end of this meeting that you can put your information on if you would like more information about this project 2)E-mail us at nowherevilleproject@aol.com with your name and information 3)As we already mentioned, we encourage all of you to attend the meetings, 4)And it would also be of great assistance if you came with your own ideas and/or concerns from your own research done on ways to help with our plan to save this community. There is much literature out there that you can take the initiative to look up.
