1:1 means each student has an assigned device number. Use kid-friendly websites, no YouTube or Google. Follow guidelines or devices will be taken away. Clean hands, no food or drinks near devices. Properly use headphones and report any device damage.

  2. 1:1 Means 1:1 Each device has a number Students will be assigned a device number (for accountability and device safety purposes) Students can ONLY use their assigned device Each cart should have a roster showing who devices are assigned to

  3. Technology Misuse • Use kid friendly websites and search engines...we NEVER use YouTube or Google • We use google drive only for instructional purposes...not to chat or share material with other students • Breaking the student AUP guidelines will result in your devices being taken away and an office referral Make Good Choices on your devices!

  4. All Labels Must Stay On Your Device Labels are used to identify and track devices for appropriate use, work orders, and liability. Do not pick at or remove labels from your device. If you notice your label is coming off or peeling up, let your teacher know. Do not place tape over it.

  5. No Food, Drinks, Or Water Near Devices • Food, drinks, and even water bottles should be placed in students’ cubbies or on a designated table or counter when using devices • Accidents happen so let’s do what we can to minimize them

  6. Clean Hands • Clean hands are important when using your device • Sticky or messy hands can cause devices to not work properly • If you have sticky or messy hands, make sure to wash them before using your device

  7. Banging on your keyboard or trackpad can damage them and cause them to not work properly The harder you press the keys will not make you earn a reward faster (such as coins in Dreambox) Please do not pick at your keys. If a key is loose, please tell your teacher. Press Gently On Your Keyboard Or TrackPad

  8. Using headphones properly • Do NOT jam headphones into the headphone jack! IT will get stuck.. • When removing them from the device, grab as close to the device as possible and pull in line with the device • Be sure to take off your headphones before leaving your seat

  9. Device screen should always be closed when traveling Device should be hugged to your body with 2 hands One hand should wrap underneath the device (your “shelf”) One hand should wrap across the device (your “seatbelt”) Traveling With Devices

  10. Reporting Damage of Your Device • If you notice any damage on your student device, report it RIGHT AWAY to your teacher • Do not try to cover up an accident (such as dropping a device) or pretend it didn’t happen • Reporting a small problem can sometimes prevent a bigger problem from happening
