  2. Change2IT – The Service Change2IT is a new, innovative e-recruitment and career development website for ICT positions, totally differentiated from what is currently available in the market.

  3. Change2IT targets: • Candidates of all backgrounds that are interested to work in the broader ICT area, and • Companies that are looking for ICT personnel.

  4. The IT Skills Gap The rapid development of new ICT skills has resulted in a lack of skilled ICT personnel. The educational system does not manage to cover all the needs in latest ICT skills as new ones emerge.

  6. The Alternative Workforce The term refers to individuals that come from different (non-ICT) educational and professional backgrounds, who can, however, develop the required ICT skills through proper guidance and training.

  7. The Alternative Workforce Many companies use Alternative Workforce in order to cover their needs. In the UK, 63% of the people employed in ICT do not possess a computer-related degree.(eSkills Bulletin, Issue 5, May 2003) Despite the above, Change2IT is the first service worldwide that aims to assist Alternative Workforce in their career progression and in finding a job in ICT.

  8. Innovation for Employers Change2IT offers an innovative system of matching jobs to candidates, managing applications, and candidate assessment that can reduce employers’ recruitment costs significantly.

  10. International Outlook Change2IT has launched for trial in • Austria • Italy • The Netherlands • Greece and intends to expand its operations globally. It is available in English, Dutch, German, and Greek. It is being translated to Italian and Portuguese.

  11. Local Representation Change2IT is looking for consultancies who would be interested to represent the service in other countries
