Rear-Vision Cameras National Highway Transportation Safety Board FMVSS no. 111 NPRM(Notice of proposed Rulemaking) This proposal is for object detection systems in “Straight Trucks” between 10,000 and 26,000 lbs This notice proposes two compliance options: Installing a cross view mirror system so the driver can view the rear area or, Installing a rear view camera system. www.nhtsa.dot.gov

  10. ADDITIONAL MENU FEATURES • Reversing Pattern Overlay Feature • When reverse camera (CAM 3) is activated, a backup pattern will appear on screen. This overlay is adjustable, horizontally & vertically, to match the requirements of the specific vehicle used. Provides additional direction and guild for operator when reversing. • Blue Screen On/Off Option • When there is no image on the screen, the operator has the option of a blank blue or black screen. If the blue screen option is selected, the screen will appear blue, otherwise it will appear black. • Auto Scan Feature • If this function is activated, the monitor will automatically cycle through all cameras selected by the operator up to a total of 3 cameras. Cycle time is also adjustable (seconds) by the operator.
