  1. Burdens are Lifted At Calvary

  2. Burdens Are Lifted At Calvary • John 19 • 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. •  16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. •  17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha.

  3. Burdens Will Soon Be Lifted At Calvary Isaiah 53:4-7

  4. Isaiah 53:4-7 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

  5. Matthew 27:37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

  6. Luke 23:32-34 (King James Version) •  32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. •  33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. •  34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

  9. Something To Think About Phil. 4 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
