  25. CRITERIA Urban Planning and Design • Locate housing within urban areas not isolated in remote “dormitory cities” • Include housing in mixed urban use areas, • Improve mobility by introducing a rich variety of urban uses, • Promote cultural viability and street life.

CRITERIA Economic opportunities • Housing development creates jobs and stimulates the economy (production of building materials, construction industry) • Include housing with mixed uses to generate new jobs & income generating opportunities, • Encourage the private sector to invest in housing in mixed use area,
