Ark in the Park Open Sanctuary Current situation • 1300ha in park, 600ha WCC + private land and still expanding • Returned kokako, hihi, robin, whitehead • 120 active volunteers • 8,000 hours/annum • Helping build Forest & Bird’s reputation as a community organisation, with good management, sound science and a willingness to work with councils and Iwi.
