  2. Why create a Credit Union Store? We wanted to come up with a creative way to recognize and reward those employees who go above and beyond their normal job responsibilities. MembersFirst Credit Union

  3. How does the store work? • Each Month, all managers receive between 15-25 Bob’s Buck’s to hand out to those deserving employees. • Employees are able to go into the credit union store that is located on our Portal and shop their hearts out. • You will soon be entering our store to see how it works in detail. MembersFirst Credit Union

  4. MFCU’s Portal Store What are Bob’s Buck’s? • We created our very own little dollar bill that has our CEO’s picture on it along with our company name above the picture. • Each bill is worth $1.00. Employees have the option to use 50% cash with 50% Bob’s Bucks to purchase everything in the store with the exception of the day off with pay. This must be used with all 75 Bob’s Buck’s. • We also allow employees to donate their Bob’s Buck’s to Charity. Because each Bob’s Buck is worth $1.00, if an employee donates 20, we would send $20.00 to the specified Charity. MembersFirst Credit Union

  5. Maintaining the Store? We have a Storekeeper who maintains the inventory in the store, distributes the Bob’s Buck’s to the managers, and sells the items to the employees. MembersFirst Credit Union

  6. How else the store can be used? We recently kicked off a new Incentive Program. As part of the program, those employees who reach certain goals are given some Bob’s Buck’s, along with cash incentive. MembersFirst Credit Union

  7. How do our employees feel about the Credit Union Store? In almost all cases, employees are excited to receive the Bob’s Buck’s. In addition to the pat on the back, this is a fun way to say “Thank You!”! MembersFirst Credit Union
