  3. What formality do you want your sofa to have? Straight? Scrolled? Camel-back? * The less fussy the back, the less formal the look of the sofa.

  4. What type of cushions do you want? One, two, three or four? • The fewer cushions, the less dirt they collect.

  5. What type of arms do you want your sofa to have? Arms that are the same height as the back of the sofa or arms that drop down a few inches below the back of the sofa? Do you want wide arms or thin arms?
