  2. Formation of company in India is not a difficult task, but there are a few difficulties which can be faced by NRI’s in order to establish their business venture in India. Let’s discuss a few problem faced by NRI’s and their solutions.

  3. Challenge 1 SINGLE OWNER OF THE COMPANY: As per the new companies act 2003 a single person can for a company. However, that single person should be the residents of India, NRI and foreign residents are not eligible to open any limited company in India

  4. Challenge 2 INDIAN RESIDENT: As per the companies act it is mandatory to have at least one India member in act as an director of the companies in both cases public limited as well as private limited.

  5. Challenge 3 DOCUMENTS FROM INDIAN EMBASSY: It is mandatory to get the director’s identification number for which id proofs and address proofs of all the director’s are required. Each foreign residents and NRI should be notarized from Indian embassy.

  6. Challenge 4 REGISTERED OFFICE PROOF: In order to get your company registered you need valid address proof of the registered office. This is usually the last step for the NRI’s due to non availability of address proof in India.
